You gotta admit...

Getting killed by a stingray is a pretty badass way to go.

Thanks, Joe, for wasting our time

James J. Na at Guns and Butter blog sums up perfectly the colossal waste of time that was the Plame leak:

So much for "Bush lied, people died." It's more like Dems lied, people were (wrongly) indicted.

Christopher Hitchens, an obit

A couple weeks (or months, I don't remember) ago, Christopher Hitchens posted on his website that he had recieved an e-mail from someone claiming to know the date and time of Mr. Hitchens' execution.

It seems the obsession with the British contrarian's death is shared by others, as evidenced by a mock (or is it?) obituary from the year 2009.

The Wall Street Journal has a piece on the future of shopping for music, which apparently includes an end to serendity. Tower Records has filed for bankruptcy again while online companies continue to flourish.

Most notable in the article was this prediction:

• No matter what happens to Tower, record stores will be around for some time to come. (So will bookstores and newsstands.)

• Nevertheless, most people under 50 will eventually be downloading most of their recorded-music purchases instead of going to a store to buy them in the form of compact discs.

• Once that happens, brick-and-mortar record stores will become as rare as typewriter repair shops.

Hello, and welcome to my first blog with Townhall.com. My previous blog was entitled "Le Mole" and could be found on Blogspot. I think it's great that Townhall is allowing their readers to have a forum by which to express their opinions about politics and culture.

I don't want to bore readers, so I'll make my bio brief. I live in Seattle, Washington, and write regularly for the Pacific Publishing company. I am absolutely obsessed with politics, and have many issues that concern me greatly, including terrorism, disability rights and fighting liberal lies (there's never a break in that).

I'll be updating this blog as regularly as I can with links to stories I found interesting, articles I've written and anything else I feel like sharing.

You can contact me at turningtotheright@gmail.com.
