Rosie O'Donnell is being replaced by Whoopi Goldberg on the hit daytime talk show
The View. No shockers, and I know alot of View addicts (a group of which I will admit I have joined the ranks of)
are disappointed that a conservative was not put in the seat Whoopi once occupied.
Sure, it would've been nice to have Michelle Malkin, Laura Ingraham or even a more moderate voice from the celebrity world that I'm not yet aware of. However, Whoopi is a decent person, with beliefs that are not ridiculous. Her presence on
The View will really help the show, and I'm betting she will be able to defend her beliefs without resorting to namecalling the way O'Donnell did.
I'm pretty sure that she is not a 9/11 conspiracy nut, and her presence means that the "fire has never melted steel" nonsense may never be heard on national TV again. Thank goodness!
Also, both Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell have appeared on
The O'Reilly Factor. When she appeared on O'Reilly's show,
Whoopi provided intelligent debate. When Rosie appeared on
The Factor, she talked about having diarrhea.You decide.
