I'd like to show all those who read Deschamps Blog what living in the extremely liberal city of Seattle is like. If you live in the Midwest, the South or the suburbs you can't fully appreciate what I see everyday.
During the run up to this year's election, I saw signs all over town that said "HANG ROVE," attached with a picture of the Republican Party elephant. This seemed really bizarre to me. I thought most liberals were against capital punishment, especially against those that have been found innocent of crimes. And Karl Rove has been cleared after being investigated for outting the name of Valerie Plame.
Those seemed to have disappeared, however. That's why I leave you with something even better, the
Replacements Needed campaign, led by a very motivated anti-war activist:
