I posted this in response to
Jevica's post on Keith Ellison's election to Congress:

don't know much about Keith Ellison, but I remember hearing that he was
a follower of the Nation of Islam. During high school, I read and
re-read the Autobiography of Malcolm X and found it to be one of the
greatest books written in the twentieth century.
From what I've
read about Malcolm X, all signs seem to show the Nation of Islam had a
role in his assasination. How are they able to maintain such a
following? Why do I never hear people talk about this?
