I got this lovely letter in reaction to
my article on Asperger's syndrome:Michael:
Thank you
for your recent article "Coming to terms with Asperger's." I have a
15-year-old son with high functioning autism who is just now beginning
to face the implications and ramifications of his disability. Your
insight and experiences will be very helpful for me as I discuss this
issue with him. I believe that your personal experience will also be a
good example for him to look to as he makes choices about how to deal
with his diagnosis and the resulting difficulties. Thank you for your
honesty and candor in writing about a very personal issue.
